Woodstock Moto Co

Woodstock Moto Co was a DIY motorcycle garage and coffee shop, focussed on creating an inclusive motorcycle community. In addition to organising events and group rides, WMC had its own line of merchandise, including a coffee brand and a moto-mechanics school.

About this project

I worked in-house at Woodstock Moto Co and was responsible for social media (designing assets and writing copy for captions), writing newsletters, website copy, and designing new merch.

I loved being a part of this ragtag, DIY team and contributing to their many wonderful initiatives for the local moto community.

Graphic Design

WMC had an established brand identity that I was able to expand into merchandise like motocross jerseys, T-shirts, buffs, mugs, etc. I was also responsible for designing menus & menu boards, signage and website graphics.

Below are some examples of merch, from initial design to finished product and finally social content.

Content Creation & Copywriting

Social media was paramount in promoting events and products but also in fostering the community that WMC had diligently built. I was responsible for taking photos, designing graphics and writing captions for all digital content.

Copywriting responsibilities also included the WMC website that contained information about its history and values, events, rides, memberships, moto-mechanics school, and product descriptions.

I wrote a monthly newsletter as a round-up of the previous month's activities and to promote upcoming events and product launches, and shared stories to further cultivate the community attached to WMC. We featured a "member of the month" and shared photo albums from rides and events.
